Ever since I can remember, I have always loved flowers. I remember our old family garden and the various annual as well as perennial cut flowers my mum and my aunties grew there many years ago. I can clearly see a couple of rose bushes surrounding the old house belonging to my great grand parents where we had spent many afternoons and weekends. I also remember collecting wild flowers in the meadows and forests surrounding my home town.
These days, I love growing my own flowers. I enjoy observing their growth, looking after, but also love photographing and drawing them. Apart from the garden flowers I have a special spot for wild flowers.
Whether in our garden or while out and about in the countryside (whichever country we happen to be in) I love watching wild animals and especially the birds - listening to their singing, and when the opportunity presents itself, I also like taking photos of them.
